Today we are excited to announce the launch of a new feature on gypsii.com, GyPSii Communities. You can use communities to connect and share with other GyPSiis around common interests, or simply to keep up with friends or family.

Are you into cooking? We have a community for that. How about house or techno? We have a community for that too. Don’t see what you are looking for? Create your own community. Communities can be public, visible to only your friends, or invite-only (only people you invite can find or join your community).

So what can you do with a community? I’m glad you asked!

• Post your GyPSii Places to a community from gypsii.com or from the GyPSii Mobile Apps for S60 and Blackberry (more mobile support coming soon!). From the Place create or update screens, simply choose one of your communities from the drop-down menu.
• Post notes to the community from the community feed.
• Browse community content, announcements, and members from the community homepage.
