Everyone around the office is excited about the nomination; it’s a third party validation of our hard work from one of the most respected players in the field – GSMA.  Also this nomination helps pave the way for another potential nomination at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Jeff Lin, our Managing Director of APAC, will also be sitting on the ‘Mobile Lifestyle’ panel at Mobile Asia Congress at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, November 18th.  Joining Mr. Lin on stage will be Unicom executive Mr. Wang ChangCheng (Senior Operations Director, Innovation Centre) and other leading voices in the mobile lifestyle market.

China members use GyPSii to create places while traveling on their summer holidays, and share them with other members. The GyPSii China community then determines the winners. All the prizes will be awarded to the highest rated places.

The goal of this campaign is not only to encourage current China members to use GyPSii, but also to attract new ones. Those who create places and compete for a prize tell others about the campaign in hopes that their friends will vote for them.

Since the campaign launched we’ve added many users and visitors to the contest page are increasing every day. Now we are working on a way to encourage comments and ratings.

So far this campaign has been a great success, and as we learn about our members we hope to continue with more exciting campaigns like this one.
